One of our favorites is this One Pan Cajun Shrimp recipe.

1. One Pan Cajun Shrimp

We love this recipe because Cajun shrimp is such a tasty meal because of all of the spices in Cajun seasoning. The smoked paprika, oregano, garlic and all the other spices make anything you put it on flavorful. Then top a heaping pile of rice with these well seasoned shrimp. Yum, yum!!

2. Beef and Broccoli

Another recipe we really like that’s quick to whip up is this Panda Express inspired Beef and Broccoli recipe. We have a tendency to want to order fast food on the weekend but this Beef and Broccoli recipe is so delicious and quick to make it makes more sense to make it at home.

3. Bacon and Shrimp Fried Rice

Hold on … I had to share another one of our favorites (it’s actually the littles favorite) which is bacon and shrimp fried rice. I know, how can you go wrong with something that has bacon. You can’t!

This recipe is also great for my low-carb and keto friends. Just substitute cooked rice with fresh (uncooked) cauliflower rice and you are set.

4. Instant Pot Chicken Shawarma

Do you love a delicious sandwich that’s a complete meal? That’s how I feel about this Instant Pot Chicken Shawarma. It’s got meat, carbs and veggies. You can’t beat that. The pressure cooker makes sure your chicken is cooked fast and infused with lots of flavor. So when in the mood for a complete meal that’s hand-held I make chicken shawarma and add all the extra veggies.

5. Salmon Cakes

Salmon cakes are personally my favorite quick dinner. I like to have my salmon cakes with a big salad but my littles like it with rice and corn. Or an avocado and tomato salad. It’s a simple recipe that’s really tasty.

The best part is that most of these recipes you can whip up quickly even if you forgot to take to take something out of the freezer.
