Baked Sweet Sticky Sesame Wings

Sweet Sticky Sesame Chicken Wings

I’m in love with these baked sweet sticky sesame wings. It’s so easy and delicious to make I had to share this recipe.

We love a great wing recipe and I’ve made Asian inspired wings before. But these really are one of the most delicious wings I’ve made in a while. Funny enough, these wings were the suggestion of oldest little. I gave him the option of sweet sticky wings or honey mustard wings and he choose these.

The mixture of hoisin, honey and soy really add several layers of flavor. The sauces also work perfectly together, providing the right balance of sweet and salty. It’s can I say, finger licking good (side eye). It’s

I love, love love these wings. And believe me, I’ve eaten a lot of wings. I also love that you can simply just throw everything in a bowl, then throw everything in the oven. With a hectic life, it’s so much easier to just bake my wings. I love baking chicken wings. As long as the temperature is high enough you can still get a nice crisp on the chicken.

Remove any excess fat and feathers from your chicken (If this becomes tedious use tongs to sear feathers off over an open flame).

In a small bowl mix salt, garlic, soy, hoisin, honey and sesame oil. Make sure garlic is incorporated well.

Add chicken to a large bowl and pour soy, hoisin mixture over chicken.

Allow chicken wings to marinate in mixture for 30 minutes (if you don’t have the time pierce meat of chicken with a fork).

Place wings on baking sheet.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping half way through.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. No sauce needed.

I love chicken wings and rice. And since college I’ve added rice seasoning to my rice. I love the additional layers of flavor and it compliments the sweet sticky wings perfectly. Of course, you could also add a bowl of vegetables. Despite how delicious it tastes it’s much healthier than fried and sauced buffalo wings.

Yup, these wings are so freaking delicious. I’m so happy that my little suggested making these. If you like this recipe you should also try my potsticker recipe.
