The Buffalo Shrimp from American Grill was the first to go at my friends birthday dinner. Platter after platter was delivered to the tables. I found it hard to believe that these shrimp were so good everyone (even people with shrimp allergies) had to have it. But it really was that good. So after a great birthday dinner with friends, I set out to create a Copycat American Grill Buffalo Shrimp Recipe.
We were at the American Grill to celebrate our friends birthday. I love that our friends are foodies just like us. It means that when we get together there’s bound to be lots of great friends and tons of laughs. And a bunch of “Mmmm, that’s so good” and “taste this.” Hubby is a bit more conservative than I so I’m happy no one decided to put their fork in his plate.
Of course, you don’t always want to have to go out have great food. It’s nice to be able to have those restaurant dishes we like so much at home. That’s why I’m so excited I was able to figure out this Copycat American Grill Buffalo Shrimp Recipe. I used the Steve & Ed’s Buffalo Wing Sauce for this recipe but here’s a link to my homemade sauce. The Steve and Ed sauce is milder than my homemade sauce which meant that event the littles could have some buffalo shrimp.
I’m sure your family will be just as excited about this Copycat American Grill Buffalo Shrimp Recipe as my friends were. I literally invited people over as soon as I made it. It’s that good.

- oil for frying
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- red leaf lettuce

Tools: 2 medium bowl, heavy pan, tongs
Peel and devein shrimp.
Using a pairing knife (small knife) slice shrimp (this will help shrimp lay flat when frying it).
