Halloween Roundup Crafts and Laughs
Still need decorations for the house? I’ve found a couple of decorations you can make yourself. Some are easier than others but you’ll have fun making all of it. I’m a big fan of ghosts this year so the puffy ghost is my favorite. It’s as simple a ballon and some cotton cheesecloth. But the DIY Network has a bunch of great ideas you should try.
DIY Halloween Costumes
Still haven’t figured out what you are going to be for Halloween then there are some great ideas out there from easy to put together geeky Halloween costumes to super simple last minute DIY costumes from Good Housekeeping. I’ve got some good ideas now that won’t cost me a thing.
Healthy Halloween Treats
If you are looking for some healthy treats this Halloween for the kids or for adults Detoxinista has a bunch of ideas from Homemade Reese’s Cup to Snickers. You’ll have tons of fun (and none of the guilt) making and eating these treats.
Halloween Treat Bags and Boxes
If you are having a a party you might want to make some treat bags. These DIY Treat Bags and Boxes are so cute. This Frankenstein sack is just as cute as our Frankenstein jars. There are tons of great bag and box ideas here if you are looking for something cute to put your favors in.
If you are looking to stay in and have a good time here are some crafts you can do with the family. I’m in love with the suggestions from Parents.com. The Cotton Ball Ghost from Thriving Home made me think we might actually finish the craft before it would be eaten by my toddlers (at least until after we were finished). LOL.
Hope these ideas help to make your Halloween memorable and full of fun. The holidays are the perfect time to spend some time with your family and friends. Make memories, share laughs and eat good food. That’s what life is about.
