Patriotic Paper Flowers

Love this super easy tutorial from Kelly at Live Life Rowe.  It’s really just a circle on top of circle on top of circle. Easy right?

4th of July Trivia

As a history teacher (ok former history teacher) I love these 4th of July Trivia cards. It’s a fun way for everyone to learn a lite bit more about the 4th of July and have some fun. These free4th of July printables come from Kristin at Yellow Bliss Road. Even if you are a buff I’m sure there are one or two that might stump you.

American Flag Corn Hole

We love a good beab bag toss, so you know we love this red white and blue tutorial from Christine at collectively Christine. On our trip to California we had a great time corn holing a.k.a. bean bag tossing in the sun. It’s always fun to have a game or two to play in the backyard while you are waiting for the food to come off the grill.

Patriotic Fruit Pops

Love the idea of making Patriotic fruit pops. Delicious and healthy treat for the holiday .This idea comes from Baker Royale. com. It’s a “all hands on deck” family activity. Using cookie cutters makes it easy for the kids to help prepare these treats. It’s also important that you make sure you fruit is firm so that it holds its shape.

4th of July Trifle

This 4th of July Trifle is a beautiful and tasty dessert. Make sure you leave time for the trifle to set in the fridge. And if you want something a bit more tart think about using lemon instead of vanilla.

Red White Blue Dipped Strawberry

Love these dressed up strawberries. Easily patriotic with some melted white chocolate and blue sprinkles. You can find instructions on The Spruce.

This recipe from the spruce will help you dress up that store bought lemonade. By adding some freshly sliced lemons, blueberries and strawberries you can glam up that plain lemonade. If you’re feeling adventurous add a bit of lemon seltzer, some adult juice and put it in a beautiful glass pitcher. Yup … I said it.

Don’t forget the Decor

DIY patriotic napkin ring. This napkin ring from Jordan’s Easy entertaining is so cute. Though Jordan uses a cricut you can fold a piece of paper and draw a star on the edges and cut several stars at one time. Then cut several strips of paper and use the star (and glue) to secure it.

4th of July Party Decor

And you can’t forget the flowers. I love this super easy DIY Patriotic vase. All you need is a vase and some red, white and blue tape.

After a “Blooming Night Out” you know I had to throw in some pretty flowers. Any flowers will do. You’ll probably be able to find some red, white and blue flowers at the supermarket. If you don’t you can use white rose or carnations.

Hope this helps you put together a great party 4th of July party that’s filled with fun for your friends and family. Don’t stress if you don’t have everything together. Just enjoy this time you get to spend with your family.
