My oldest and I had a great time making the blueberry coconut popsicles that are on the blog. So, I had to take on the same adventures with the triplets to replicate a deliciously sweet pop to celebrate the 4th of July.

For this recipe, I decided to stick with a basic recipe to make simple for the kids to make. Each layer is just three ingredients fruit, honey and lime. Yup, that’s it! I love these pops because it’s so easy to make which means that the littles can join in on making it and it will still taste delicious. So each little had their own layer to make and my oldest and I took over blending and filling up popsicle molds.

We only had one hiccup, where someone (not mentioning any names) decided they didn’t want a white layer. Oh well, that’s what happens sometimes when the family is in the kitchen. In the end, we had a lot of fun and these are memories we will always cherish.

These popsicles are all-natural. It’s really just fresh fruit and yogurt. We were lucky to have really ripe fruit. The riper the fruit the sweeter it will be. If you have very ripe you may want to eliminate the honey altogether.

Popsicle Substitutions

If strawberries are not your thing, you can switch it out for raspberries or use blackberries instead of blueberries. You could also swap out vanilla yogurt for coconut yogurt. Make these popsicles suit your taste buds. For instance, I used honey to sweeten these popsicles but if the fruit is not in season or you don’t have honey you can substitute with sugar.
